Frequently Asked Questions

We’ve gathered the most common questions from our clients to make your journey smoother.

Do I need a diagnosis to work with you?

No. You don’t need a formal diagnosis. Many clients come to me with prediabetes, insulin resistance, blood sugar swings, or symptoms such as cravings and low energy. Support is always personalised, based on your history, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals — there’s no one-size-fits-all approach.

The free discovery call is a short, no-pressure conversation to understand your situation, answer your questions, and decide whether we’re a good fit. We’ll look at the bigger picture and, if appropriate, I’ll guide you towards the most suitable next step.

Rather than rigid meal plans, I offer tailored nutrition guidance based on your food preferences, routine, digestion, and blood sugar patterns. This includes food diary review, meal structure, and practical strategies you can realistically maintain.

Between sessions, you’ll put the agreed plan into practice. Email support is included for brief questions or clarifications, with responses within 2 business days (Monday–Friday). Each follow-up reviews your progress and adjusts your plan as your needs change.

That’s absolutely fine. Many clients I work with take medications such as metformin or other glucose-lowering treatments. Nutrition support is adapted to work alongside your prescribed care, and changes are always made with your overall health and safety in mind.

Yes. A gut-friendly approach is central to my work. If you experience bloating, constipation, reflux, or IBS-type symptoms, your plan is adapted so blood sugar support doesn’t come at the expense of digestion.

Yes.  Support is always individualised and focuses on metabolic health while working alongside medical care where appropriate.

No. I do not diagnose or treat medical conditions. Nutrition support is provided alongside medical care and is not a replacement for advice from your GP or healthcare team.
